The Day My App Was Finally Released

After many struggles and many failures, my app is finally out.

This moment is very special, as it did not happen in a short and easy manner. In contrast, it involved a very long and complex journey for me to learn, fix, test, and try, again and again, to get to this point. There were moments when I felt trapped, frustrated, and unsure about whether things would work out, but I kept going, even if it was just one step at a time.

The beta testing phase was fundamental for me. It was a great opportunity to learn from my beta testers, and discover how they interacted with the app. I was able to identify problems and develop solutions to parts I missed. Since it was my app, I only saw it from the developer’s point of view. After considering the feedback in the app, I was able to discover and patch bugs, polishing the app to the point where it was finally ready to be launched.

The testing phase was also very valuable, and is was also very important for me to understand that the goal of the app is much more than just making it function. I had spent a lot of time considering the functional aspects of the app, but I had not realised how important the details of design, the presence of bugs, and the app experience were in the overall product.

The app is finally released! I feel proud, relieved, and truly grateful. This is not the end of the road, but the start of a new journey. I have a lot of work to do with the app, and I will continue to refine the app. I want to pause and appreciate this milestone.

Starting with just an idea, I can now say I have turned that into something real.
