Concluding My Freshman Year of Hip Hop

I have just concluded my freshman year on my school’s Hip Hop Team! This year was truly special since it was the first year that Hip Hop has existed as a class at Irvine High School, and I am so grateful for all the memories I have made with my teammates this year. Being part of rallies and performances was truly special and exciting, teaching me the importance of teamwork, coordination, and time management. Since our team was new and did not have any previously set standards, we faced many challenges together in order to function and prevail as a team. They have truly become like a second-family to me, and although I am sad to see some people go, I look forward to continuing next year!
